POLICE are continuing an appeal for a pair of thugs who mugged a frail pensioner in Haydock.
The 74-year-old was attacked and her handbag snatched as she walked home along Park Street.
She was approached by the two men at 9.30pm on April 8, before they escaped in the direction of Clipsley Lane after the attack.
Both attackers are described as white, aged 18 or 19, 5ft 8ins tall and of slim build. They had short, dark hair, were clean shaven and wore dark clothes.
