TICKETS are still on sale for a sportsman's dinner to raise money for ex-Warrington Rugby League Club captain Mike Gregory.
The event will take place at The Halliwell Jones Stadium on April 30. Every penny raised will go to the Wigan coach, who is very poorly, and more than 300 tickets have already been sold for the tribute night.
Gregory, aged 40, was at the heart of some exciting years with Warrington Wolves and he is one of the club's all-time heroes.
His back row quality was a major asset as Wire reached eight cup finals in the first eight of his 12 seasons at Wilderspool Stadium.
At the dinner on April 30, there will be full tables of players from Wolves, Wigan and Widnes in Gregory's honour. Tickets are priced £35 and are available from Fisher Promotions on 414123.
