WARRINGTON Sunday Soccer League Division Two side Farmers Arms have won the Presidents Cup after defeating Callands 3-0 in the final.

Steve Frith, Andrew Unsworth and Brian Cox were all on the scoresheet for Farmers, whose goalkeeper Neil Roberts was the man of the match after pulling off a string of super saves.

In the Premier Division, third-placed Cheshire Hawthorne were defeated 3-1 at table toppers Halton Arms despite taking the lead through Brendan Hennessy.

Matthew Bell and Anthony Hyde did the damage for Causeway as they beat Penketh and Sankey Eagle 2-1 in Division One, while Culcheth were hammered 10-2 by Vulcan.

Stocks ran out 2-1 winners against bottom side Dog and Dart, with Lee Howard and Matthew Doping both on target.

Socrates took advantage of Farmers Arms' cup commitments to go top of Division Two with a 5-2 win against Ridgeway Park. Ged McAllister grabbed a brace, while Peter Higginbottom, Chris Thompson and Dave Yardley also struck.

Grange Hawthorne were edged out 5-4 in a dramatic match against Elephant FC despite a double from Robin Howard and further goals from Lee Fairclough and David Shaw.

Andy Myer and Scott Robinson scored as Racing Rovers beat Red Lion 2-0, while Turf and Feather defeated Brooklands 3-2 thanks to goals from Dave Pearson, Karl Fettle and Chris Burrows.

In Division Three, a penalty from Tony Derbyshire saw Dog and Partridge rescue a 1-1 draw against Spa Brook, while Liam Caffery, Gareth Rowlinson and Gary Gardner all found the target as Seven Woods returned to winning ways with a 3-2 win against Rams Head.

A 25-yard strike from Paul Green helped champions Knights to a 2-0 win against Power Construction NW in Division Four, with Anthony Young also on the scoresheet.

Dave O'Brien's goal was not enough to prevent Polar Ford falling to a 3-1 defeat against Wolf Pack, while Insall Smithys Rangers lost 2-1 to Sandymoor despite a goal from Carl Fitzhugh.
