TIME is running out for budding bards to send off their entries for this year's creative writing contest at Lymm Festival.
This year's contest, which is open to writers of all ages, is based on the theme of fire, and £300 worth of cash and book tokens are up for grabs.
People aged over 16 can put their ideas into a poem or short story, while those aged under 16 can enter however they like - as long as their entry is kept to one side of A4.
Full details and rules of entry are available from the library or by sending a self-addressed envelope to Fire c/o 39, Fairfield Road, Stockton Heath, Warrington, WA4 2UR.
All entries will be displayed as part of the festival exhibition and there will be a prize giving ceremony on July 2.
But hurry up, because the deadline for a completed form and payment is May 1.
