A CHARITY night for the Shannon Bradshaw Trust has raised almost £2,500.
Wire FM DJ Pete Pinnington compared the evening at the Parr Hall earlier this year.
The fund was boosted by a donation of £300 from the Hawthorne Pub in Orford, £200 raised by children at Sacred Heart Primary School who held a non-uniform day and £42.90 raised following a cake sale at St Gregory's High School by Shannon's cousin Nicole.
Most of the money will go to the trust while £1,000 will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House at Alder Hey Children's Hospice.
Patti Bradshaw, Shannon's mum, said: "They do great work there. We want to say a big thank you to everyone who took part and made the event a great success."
