TWO lorry drivers were taken to hospital following a crash on a motorway on Tuesday morning.
Three heavy goods vehicles were involved in the collision on the northbound carriageway of the M6 at Croft, between junction 21 and 21a.
The two drivers, one of them French, were trapped in their vehicles, and were reported to have serious but not life-threatening injuries.
One lane was closed while the rescue operation took place.
There was a diesel spillage at the scene, which was cleared up by police and the Environment Agency.
