THE Citizens Advice Bureau is appealing for more volunteer workers - after an increase in customer demand has led to staffing problems.
The Vale Royal centre currently provides benefits and debt advisers, mental health advocacy and financial literacy training. An independent NHS complaints department and employment rights unit are also available.
Now Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) manager Paul Nicholls said the company has become a victim of its own success.
He added: "Our offices in Northwich and Winsford are busier than they have ever been, offering a wide range of services to the local community.
"The frontline of the CAB will always be the general advice service provided by our teams of volunteers, and unfortunately, it is there that we are struggling. Success has led to a situation where demand is greater than our ability to meet it."
