A WOMAN robbed an 18-year-old girl in Runcorn Old Town as she headed home from a night out.
The girl was punched to the ground behind the post office and her wristwatch was stolen. She was attacked at around 1am on Sunday.
A man, who appeared to play no part in the attack, accompanied the attacker.
The couple came from the area near Kwik Save and returned there afterwards. Police think it was probably a spur of the moment attack.
The woman was described as aged 24 to 25, with long brown or blonde hair in a ponytail, and she wore a pink and white top with sequins, a denim jacket and jeans, and white trainers.
The man wore a black tracksuit and a white t-shirt and was aged 22 to 23.
