HELL'S Kitchen hopeful Aaron Siwoku is preparing to return to Northwich after viewers of the popular reality television show voted to send him home.

The former Grange pupil and Hollands Road resident had been competing for the chance to run his own restaurant but his hopes were dashed on Monday night after a shock public decision led to an early exit from the show. Aaron's dad David Siwoku, was surprised his former Blind Date contestant son was ousted. He said: "I was really shocked he was voted out because he'd been getting good feedback on popularity charts. One minute Gary (Rhodes) is saying Aaron has a real talent and the next he's on his way off the programme."

But David is looking forward to welcoming Aaron home. He said: "I can't wait to have him back at the start of next week. It was so hard not talking to him and being able to offer him advice so it'll be great to see him again.

"We're planning a big party for his return."

He added: "Aaron is typically upbeat about the whole thing. I spoke to him briefly after he left the show and he said it's been a really good experience.

"He went on the show to prove that anyone could do it and he's achieved what he wanted."

Aaron and fellow Red Kitchen team-mate Sam Ramplin, a former Essex lap dancer, set tongues wagging when they disappeared for a rendezvous off camera last week but even hints of a romance could not save the 22-year-old entrepreneur from being axed.

David added: "I thought the pair of them got together on day one to concoct a game plan, after seeing how it worked for Jordan and Peter on I'm A Celebrity, but I spoke to Aaron on Monday and he said he genuinely really likes Sam.

"We'll just have to wait and see what happens."
