THERE are just a few weeks left to make sure lines are learned and productions are polished because the cut off date for the 2005 Guardian Rose Bowl Awards has been decided.

The deadline date for shows to be included in this year's event, which will take place on Saturday, July 23, has been agreed as Saturday, June 11.

And now that preparations are under way, we are appealing for all trophies to be returned to us by the cut off point.

Now in its eighth year, the Rose Bowl Awards have proved to be a popular event in the Northwich drama calendar and a whole host of talent has taken to the stage in that time.

And with an impressive number of productions already reviewed, this year should be no exception.

After this season's deadline the Guardian will finalise the nominations for each category and in the lead up to the big event we will be announcing a list of those nominated for an award. So hurry, there is still time to get a production entered before the cut off date.

If you are involved in local theatre and would like your group or organisation to be considered in the Rose Bowl Awards, ring entertainment reporter Gemma Sproston on 01606 813624 - but remember the last date for a review will be Saturday, June 11.
