IMAGINE you've won the election and become Prime Minister!

That's the exciting challenge we gave schoolchildren, inviting them to tell us what they would do if they were in charge of No 10.

These pupils from Moorfield Primary School in Widnes were only two-years-old when Tony Blair was first elected.

World chief reporter Barbara Jordan gave them a talk about her job and asked them to write their own mini manifestos.

This is what our 10-year-old readers would do, if they ran the country:

"I would let girls be football and rugby coaches."

Laura Hankinson

"I would change the law so if someone got shot, they would stay in jail for their life."

Kyle Smith

"I would make children go to school on Saturday and Sunday as well as the week, but with no homework."

Libby Mead

"I would stop all the wars on earth and make houses cheaper."

Hannah Piert

"I would not let people park in front of drives unless it is your house."

Georgia Baldwin

"I would make people in England pay less for their tax. They would only have to pay £20."

Chapa Kalawo

"I would make the area safe by getting a sniffing dog and they will sniff drugs and weapons that cause injury or death."

Kathryn Elizabeth Sullivan

"I would ban drinking and smoking."

Alex Parian

"I would let people fish wherever they want without a licence."

Danny Stapleton

"I would let people finish High School at the age of 13."
