WARRINGTON Citadel celebrate their anniversary on May 21 and 22 with a visit from the renowned preacher and second in command of The International Salvation Army, Commissioner Gaither.
The celebration starts on the Saturday at 7pm with massed choirs of Warrington and Liverpool Walton Songsters.
Stops
A magnificent new three-manual digital organ has been installed at St Mary's Church, Lymm.
This has been built to the exacting design and specification of Hugh Banton, who lives in the parish, and specialises in computer organs.
The instrument, of traditional style and voicing, has 51 stops, and the very latest technical facilities.
The inaugural recital is to be given by Professor Tracey on Saturday, June 18 at 7.30pm.
Crash
Amy Aeron-Thomas, from the charity Road Peace, is inviting Warrington church leaders to observe a special day of remembrance for road crash victims on the third Sunday in November.
