OVER the past few months my school has been involved in the Warrington Film Festival.
Pupils in schools across Warrington made films for the show at Pyramid on April 14.
I thought it was a really great experience as it gave young people skills that they wouldn't learn in school. To promote the event, my friends and I called local media. We also helped to distribute leaflets.
It is important to have events like this because they inspire young people to get involved in community activities.
I think it should become a yearly event and could grow to involve even more kids.
