THE NANTWICH headteacher accused of indecently assaulting two girls under the age of 13 has had his bail extended.
Allan Kettleday, headteacher at Malbank School and Sixth Form College, was arrested as part of a police investigation into incidents which are alleged to have taken place between November 2003 and February 2005.
The allegations were referred to police by Cheshire County Council's Child Safe Guarding Unit earlier this year.
Police confirmed that a 54-year-old from the Crewe area had been arrested and released on bail in relation to alleged indecent assaults on two girls.
Mr Kettleday, who is currently absent from work due to illness, has been told to answer his bail on June 8, a Cheshire Police spokesman confirmed this week.
