A WARRINGTON mum has welcomed news that more work will be done into the cause of sudden cardiac death and arrhythmia, or sudden adult death syndrome (SADS).
Angela Morris, whose son Colin Hankin died suddenly in October 2000, was one of the SADS UK members at a health conference when the news was announced.
SADS UK spokesman, Anne Jolly, said: "I am pleased that through raising awareness some people have had underlying cardiac conditions detected and their conditions treated. This makes all the hard work worthwhile."
Angela is the north west co-ordinator for SADS UK and supports others who have been affected by a SADS death.
