took cocaine into prison
FORMER Coronation Street star Trevor Dwyer-Lynch has received a conditional discharge despite admitting being in possession of cocaine in Risley Prison.
Dwyer-Lynch, aged 46, was also ordered to pay £20 costs and have the drugs confiscated at Warrington Magistrates court last Thursday.
The actor, who played cab driver Patrick, admitted to possession of a class A drug at the earliest opportunity and denied accusations that he tried to smuggle the drugs into the prison.
