SHE may no longer be a shadow minister and has become a popular TV personality, but Ann Widdecombe is still a high profile Tory.
And the former minister came to Warrington to visit the Age Concern centre on Knutsford Road, Latchford, on Tuesday.
Winning the so-called grey vote could prove crucial in the borough.
Warrington South Tory candidate Fiona Bruce said: "A central part in my campaign is to strengthen community life in Warrington and Age Concern plays an important role in the community."
