PEOPLE who have not spoken Spanish since school, but want to converse on holiday, can try a new language class at Newton Community Centre.
The class, which will be launched on May 9 from 10am, gives people the chance to learn the essentials of conversational Spanish and order anything from paella to sangria without the pressure of exams.
Classes will subsequently be held every Monday from 1pm to 3pm and are aimed at people who have a prior knowledge of the language, while a beginners' class is expected to begin soon.
Meanwhile, to mark Mind, Body and Spirit day on May 8, a range of holistic treatments will be on offer.
The event, running from 10am to 4pm, will showcase aromatherapy, reflexology, reiki and massage, accompanied by a range of stalls.
Admission is £1 for adults and free for children.
