a clean sweep
SICK of seeing your favourite walkways and beauty spots covered in litter? Then, get in touch with Clr Patrick Mullee.
Along with Phil Chadwick, head of Warrington Borough Council's Street Scene department, the councillor is organising a voluntary litter pick.
During the first litter sweep on April 16, 12 volunteers collected 40 bags of rubbish from Ackers Pit, Alexandra Park, London Road and small streets in the village.
All necessary protective clothing will be provided and hopefully the day will end with refreshments at the end a cleaner village.
To get involved, call Clr Mullee on 601914.
