A PLANNING application for a two-storey housing extension on Cann Lane North, Appleton has been approved.
Councillors on Warrington Borough Council's development control committee gave the scheme the go ahead at its meeting last week.
Neighbours to the scheme had objected to it, claiming the two-storey development at Caxton House would overshadow adjacent properties.
But in the final vote a total of six councillors to five gave their approval for the development to proceed
