WARRINGTON Rowing Club had winners in three events at the Nottingham City Regatta on Sunday.

Tom Pearson and James Whitehead's time of 3mins 47.78secs earned them victory in the boys' under 14s double sculls over 1000m, and the pair also joined forces with Luke Balcerak, Chris Johnstone and cox Emma Dunbavand to win the boys' under 14s coxed quadruple sculls 1000m race in 3mins 44.61secs.

The crew of Jack Ferguson, Michael Pownall, Laurence Sarkar, Dean Ratcliffe and cox Sarah Cooper finished fourth in the same race in 4mins 8.54secs.

Katy McQuillian and Olivia Oakes took first place in the girls' under 15s double sculls 1000m race in 4mins 12.24secs, before teaming up with Emma Dunbavand, Taslim Hussain and cox Vicky Johnson to finish second in the girls' under 15s coxed quadruple sculls 100m race in 3mins 58.7secs.

Taslim Hussain then went on to finish fourth in the girls' under 16s single sculls 1000m race, while Vicky Johnson coxed as Graeme Atherton, Duncan Green, Stuart Shaw and Rob Watson took fifth place in the men's senior 4 coxed four over 1000m.

Jeremy Fagan and Mark Lavery were fifth in the men's senior 2 double sculls 2000m race on Saturday in 7mins 27.06secs.
