LATCHFORD were on top of their game as they defeated Wigan St Pats. Albion had long periods of sustained pressure, with Joe Mellor grabbing one try and setting up three others for Matthew Lomax, Sam Mairs and Tom Rigby, while Ashley Cornelia added four more points with two conversions.

RYLANDS overcame Crosfields as both teams put on a great display of rugby in an entertaining 'derby' match. Daniel Atkins crossed and goaled once, while coaches' special effort award winner Johnny Eland also touched down. Mark Richardson also kicked one goal, and Michael Lawless won the parent's player of the match.

AN EXCELLENT exhibition of teamwork was not quite enough as Crosfields were defeated in a tough encounter. Parents' player of the match Grant Clark went over once, while goals were kicked by Mark Richardson and Daniel Atkins, who jointly won the coaches' special effort award with try scorer Jack Brown.

CULCHETH worked hard but were beaten by a well-organised Orrell St James outfit. Jamie Palmer scored Eagles' only try, while player of the match Phillip Oliver caused the home side a number of problems with his hard running and strong defence. The top tackler award was shared by Andrew Jones and Liam Pleavin.

JORDAN Sherlock completed a hat-trick for the second week in succession as well as kicking one goal as Grappenhall finished their season in top form. Player of the match Steven Pilkington added a goal to his two tries, while Jack Buckley and Luke Wood crossed and goaled once. Luke Gillooley grabbed a brace, and Mathew Lewis, Daniel Harbidge and Lloyd O'Brien also kicked goals.

LATCHFORD'S defence was again outstanding as they edged past a much-improved Leigh East side in a hard-fought encounter. Kurt Whiteley, Sam Dobson and unsung hero Jake Upton all crossed in an end to end match, while Harvey Levitt took the player of the match honours.

RYLANDS' player of the match Tyler Whittaker scored a hat-trick as they drew with Ince Rose Bridge in a match that contained excellent defensive performances on both sides. Matthew Wilcox also crossed, while Sam Clarke took the coach's award and Kayne Ditchfield was the top tackler.

PHILIP Johnson grabbed three tries as Crosfields put in their best performance of the season to beat a powerful Wigan St Pats side. Joel Albiston crossed twice in an excellent attacking team display, which saw Bradley Allen, Ben Steele, Robson Boyne, Chris Jones and Josh Hensey also touch down.

PLAYER of the match Callum Leonard crossed four times as Rylands had the edge in a close match against Clock Face. Both sides played good rugby with Brad Stanway going over twice, while Joe McLaughlin also crossed. Matthew Horne was the top tackler and Nathan Harrop won the coaches' award.
