Hoylake...17 Warrington...3
WARRINGTON Rugby Union Football Club could not give coach Andy Bennett the send-off they would have wished for us as they lost at Hoylake.
Bennett is leaving to join rugby league outfit Bank Quay Bulls, but despite Warrington being safe in Euromanx South Lancashire Cheshire Division One they did not have a day to remember as a close match was not reflected by the final score.
James' penalty gave Warrington a 3-0 half-time lead, but Hoylake levelled the scores with a penalty before two tries in the last 20 minutes took the game away from the visitors.
Warrington RUFC's annual meeting will take place at Warrington Sports Club on May 10 at 7.30pm.
