MUCKY FINGERS: Pupils at High Street Primary School have been busy this week planting wildflowers in woodland in their school grounds.
The children took advantage of a donation of bulbs and seeds from Vale Royal Borough Council to brighten up their schools. Headteacher Kenneth Dickenson said: "The children really enjoy doing this and it will also make the area a much nicer place to be."
Jade Rutter, 10, Tom Campbell, 11, and Gemma Baxter, 10, are pictured preparing the ground which they hope to turn into a thriving garden.
