MIDDLEWICH CC debutant Rowan Hill made an inauspicious start to life at Haddon Fields with a duck after being bowled first ball against Sale.
He managed to recover some pride however, with the ball, taking two wickets at the expense of only 23 runs.
And Hill and his teammates were made to rue some poor play as they were consigned to a last gasp three wicket defeat.
