RUNCORN Boys secured their place in the knockout cup final, with a comfortable victory over Ellesmere Port.
Anto Ellison gave the visitors the lead after he latched on to a long clearance from Chris Thompson in the Runcorn goal.
This after they were denied an early penalty when Lewis Mogg broke the offside trap and was clearly brought down in the area by the oncoming keeper.
In the second half the home team missed a penalty before Jay McLaughlin rose above the home defence from an Anto Ellison corner to head the ball home.
