THERE are only four days to go until the motorcycling spectacle that is Thundersprint arrives in Northwich - so here's a quick reminder of the racing timetable:
l The fun starts at noon on Saturday when the concourse display will be at the car park above the Marks and Spencer store.
l Entries will be accepted from noon and six times World Champion racer Jim Redman will issue prizes from 4pm.
l The Thundersprint party kicks off at the Floatel from 5pm with a chance to mingle with the stars, enjoy a buffet and have six hours of entertainment, from quizzes to live music from local band The Strats, for just £10. Be warned though, the action starts early on Sunday morning.
l Baron's Quay opens at 6.15am on Sunday to spectators and participants and drivers are warned to arrive early to guarantee spaces.
l Practice runs will take place between 8.30am and 11.30am before the cavalcade gathers outside the Cumberland Street car park paddock to depart at noon.
l Spectators are advised the area from Northwich police station towards the Seafarer restaurant is a good spot for viewing the 200 participants.
l The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Spitfire aerobatic display will take place at 1.20pm. A one-minute silence to commemorate VE Day will be held at 1.27pm followed by the National Anthem.
l The Thundersprint runs from 1.30pm to 5.30pm.
l A rider prize-giving concludes the day at 6pm.
