THE Regal cinema's spring season of Wednesday Specials continues this month with four fine examples of world cinema.
Tonight, Wednesday, the Northwich cinema will show Shakespeare's controversial The Merchant of Venice, starring Al Pacino, Jeremy Irons, Joseph Fiennes and Lynn Collins.
Aaltra, a mordant black comedy described as 'the ultimate wheelchair road movie', plays next Wednesday, May 11, followed by The Sea Inside, an inspiring story about a paraplegic man who free himself of the body he is trapped inside, on May 18.
And on May 25 the cinema will show the off beat comedy The Life Aquatic starring Hollywood heavyweights Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, Cate Blanchett, Anjelica Houston and Willem Dafoe.
All films start at 8pm and tickets are priced £5 for adults and £3.50 for concessions.
