EVERY Saturday, people all over the UK gather round their televisions in anticipation of the abomination that has become the X-Factor, writes Paul Pope.
Judge Louis Walsh’s remaining act, John and Edward, appear every week and perform what can only be described as a freak show only fit for a circus.
Week after week, talented acts that actually have a chance of winning are sent home and John and Edward stay, making a mockery of the show. The pair of 17-year-olds seem to be a fans’ favourite. God only knows why!
The X-Factor is one of ITV’s most viewed programmes, yet now the show no longer retains its morality.
The programme is supposed to be a talent show and if John and Edward win, then it will change the meaning of the word ‘talent’ forever!
