CHARITY champ Alison McCausland has been named as one of the region’s best entrepreneurs working for charity.
The former police officer, who has already received an MBE and a Charity Times prize this year, has been shortlisted in the Morgan Foundation Entrepreneur Awards.
Alison, of Butts Green, Westbrook, said she will have to do a presentation about The Relationships Centre, which she co-founded.
She joked that last time she did a presentation the machine blew up, but said she feels so passionate about the cause that she will be able to talk about it with ease.
The winner will receive £10,000 for their organisations.
She said: “If we get this £10,000 it would turn a corner for everybody.”
