PARTY time comes to Birchwood on Sunday for the annual carnival extravaganza.
From 12pm there will be plenty of activities at Birchwood Forest Park for the Birchwood Carnival.
There will be a mini-procession around the field from 12.30pm followed by arena acts, fairground rides and many stalls.
One of the highlights of the day will be a lurcher display on the main arena – including a race with a hawk. And you can even enter your own pooch in the dog display.
Lymm Samba Band and Birchwood Brass Band will be providing the music meanwhile.
You can still book a place in the procession or get a stall by calling 824339 and speaking to Gaynor Kerry.
For full coverage of the day, see next Thursday’s Warrington Guardian.
