GREAT Sankey Primary School has launched a monthly photographic competition for its pupils.
The winner of the last competition, which had a theme of new life, was year four pupil Charlotte Wilks, aged nine, with a photo she took of a five-week-old kitten called Bobby.
The prize each month is a gift voucher and the winners will go forward to a photograph of the year competition. May’s theme is flight and the children have been taking photographs of a variety of flying animals and objects which are being displayed on the school learning platform and also on a digital photo frame in the school’s entrance.
