CALLANDS Day Centre is holding a fun day to mark World Elderly Abuse Day on Monday, June 15.
The event at the home on Callands Road will feature an old fashioned jumble sale, entertainment from Mike Turner, the former Stars in their Eyes winner and ukulele player accompanied by Charlie Fitzsimon on keyboards, plus fancy dress, food and refreshments.
Gareth Thomas, Callands Day Centre activities coordinator, said: “Everybody is welcome and parents can bring their children for a day of fun.
“People can come for a chat with our staff, see what the home is all about and how it functions and admission is free.”
