SOLDIERS in Afghanistan can’t get enough of the Warrington Guardian!
Every week Staff Sgt Rob Brittle’s wife, Karen, sends out the Guardian for him to read and it always does the rounds between the troops.
At the moment they are preparing for a 24-hour endurance relay race around the Forward Operating Base Inkerman’s 0.6 mile perimeter.
Servicemen and women will run continuously throughout the freezing night and soaring daytime temperature.

Karen Brittle, from Orford, has been encouraging people to send parcels to soldiers in Afghanistan to keep their spirits up.
Parcels are free to send if they weigh under 2kg.
