A RECEPTION for more than 50 visitors from Lymm’s twin town marked the start of a four-day tour of the village.
The guests from Meung-sur-Loire enjoyed an arrival reception at Thelwall Parish Hall complete with traditional British grub.
Some of the young people in the party went to Lymm High School while others visited Cherry Tree and Oughtrington primary schools.
A trip to Liverpool was also on the agenda during the visit, which takes place every other year, with a party from Lymm travelling to France in the spare year.
