PEOPLE can report the location of discarded shopping trolleys at Birchwood Shopping Centre.
Police and officials from Asda, Frontis, Harvest Housing and Birchwood Town Council met to discuss the problem of trolleys being dumped in and around Birchwood.
It has now been agreed that Asda will set up a reporting system in store where people will be able to say where the trolley has been dumped. Collections will be increased to twice weekly.
A CSO will attend these collections once a week.
An Asda spokesman said anyone identified as removing a trolley will be banned fromusing the stores.
