A RACE night is being held at the Sankey Arms, on Dorchester Road, Great Sankey, to raise money for the Dorchester Boat Park project.
The event will take place from 7.30pm on Thursday, June 4, and will also include a bingo and raffle.
Alan Izzard, chairman of Dorchester Road Residents’ Association which is organising the rejuvenation of the park, said: “It will be a good family evening to raise money for the community park.”
