WARRINGTON west police are inviting people interested in becoming a special constable to attend a taster session.
Special constables, who have the same powers as regular officers, often have a day job and volunteer to do the unpaid police work in the evening or weekends.
Anyone interested in becoming a special constable can call Sankey station on 01244 612620 to arrange taster policing sessions without any obligation to commit.
