PERTH Close residents who have been asked their views on adding single yellow lines to the road around Cinnamon Brow CE Primary School have mainly been in support of the proposal.
As previously reported in the Warrington Guardian, parking is a huge problem on the road during school pick up and drop off times.
Last month Clr Scott Wilson (LD – Poulton North), announced that residents were to be polled to consider the possibility of adding single yellow lines.
At a meeting of Poulton-with-Fearnhead Parish Council this week he said one or two respondents had objected to the lines but that most were in favour.
“There has been really good, positive feedback from most people,” he said.
Plans are to have the lines in place before the new school year if the consultation is successful.
