OLD sewing machines are wanted for an up-and-coming group of nimble fingered youngsters who are learning essential life skills.
Maeri Howard, who runs the Broomfields Make and Do group, wants to set up a sewing machine-lending library, so children can borrow the appliances and continue their work at home.
