A DIAMOND celebration marked an 83-year-old’s dedication to being a Freemason.
Frank Starkey, a life-long Stockton Heath resident, was presented with the commemorative certificate, telephone system and a special badge at Warrington’s Masonic Hall on May 19, to mark the 60th anniversary of him joining the group.
He is known throughout the region for his commitment to many different masonic orders.
Dennis Rudd, assistant provincial grand master, said Mr Starkey is the epitome of a freemason.
He served as the church warden at St Thomas’ church and is now deputy warden and the church’s cashier.
