A BABY girl who was locked in a car was rescued by firefighters who had to smash a window to get to her.
The nine-month-old was locked in after her mum accidentally shut an automatically locking door with the car keys still inside.
Firefighters smashed a rear window to get to the baby.
Both mum and daughter were upset but unhurt, and within moments of being back with her mum the baby was nodding off to sleep.
The incident was at Gemini Retail Park yesterday morning.
