THE Mud Monster at Long Lane Garden Centre is getting closer to having a name after St Benedict’s Catholic Primary School pupils handed in their ideas.
As previously reported in the Warrington Guardian, the garden centre is holding a competition to let schoolchildren name its mud monster.
Last week these pupils and their classmates visited the centre to submit their entries.
While they were there they also learned about planting vegetables as they are entering the RHS flower show at Tatton Park in July.
All children aged under nine can enter the mud monster competition.
Just visit the centre, draw a picture and submit your name suggestion.
