A PARTIALLY-sighted couple are being led into the road by their guide dogs because wheelie bins are being left on footpaths.
At a Stockton Heath Parish Council meeting Clr Dorothy Robb (LD – Whitefield), said the bins were left on the pavement rather than the garden by bin men after they were emptied at the corner of Walton Road and Whitefield Road.
The guide dogs walk into the road to avoid the bins on the paths.
A letter will be sent to Warrington Borough Council asking for the bins to not be left on the pavements.
