THERE was flora and fauna fever at Moore Primary School when David Bellamy lent his green-fingered hands to youngsters planting trees.
Pupils at the Lindfield Close school welcomed the famous conservationist, the Tree Appeal team and representatives from Halton Borough Council.
Halton council has been working with the Bee Aware scheme and has committed to planting 1,000 trees in schools this year with the Tree Appeal.
