THE annual meeting of Grappenhall and Thelwall Parish Council takes place tonight, Thursday, at 7.45pm at the council offices on Bellhouse Lane in Grappenhall.
A new chairman will be elected for the 2009/10 year.
Also on the agenda for the meeting will be news of a proposed summer playscheme at Grappenhall Heys Walled Garden and a scheme to encourage bulb planting.
Parish councillors will also discuss details of bus shelter security packages which could be brought in.
A recent spate of vandalism has seen them look at a number of extra security measures for the shelters in the parish.
