A LADIES only membership club has hit back at claims that they are not insured.
Pink Ladies say that Warrington Borough Council has wrongly suggested the company does not have insurance for it’s cars in proceedings it has brought against the club.
The company, run by Tina Dutton and Andrea Winders say that the council has documented evidence of the bespoke insurance that has been written especially for the club.
Andrea Winders said: “We are a unique organisation, and provide a valuable service to the members of the club. Many have written to voice their opinions, and feel that without Pink Ladies they would not have a life. We just have to continue this fight.”
The case has been adjourned until June 10 for further instruction with a trial date set for July 23 at Runcorn Magistrates Court.
