A GREAT Sankey councillor has said the amount of litter on Barrow Hall Lane is ‘shocking’.
Clr Trudi Wood is a stalwart campaigner against litter and is dismayed by the amount of litter in the area.
At the last Great Sankey Parish Council meeting she said that United Utilities visited the brook and were also shocked by the amount of rubbish strewn in the water.
She said: “They are taking photos of the litter and taking them into schools to educate them.”
