POLICE are cracking down on youths congregating around Somerfield on Warrington Road, Penketh.
Officers are patrolling the area and responded to calls for assistance after two youths, aged 14 and 15, were reported for causing trouble for store manager.
Both youths were arrested for section five public order offences for using threatening, abusive and insulting words and behaviour.
Neither had been in trouble with the police before and both received youth reprimands.
