VISITORS from Lymm’s twin town Meung-sur-Loire are preparing for a trip to the village later this month.
A party of 47 adults and 14 young people from the French town will spend four days in and around Lymm from May 20.
Some of the young people will be visiting Lymm High School and Cherry Tree and Oughtrington primary schools - both of which are linked with schools in Meung-sur-Loire.
There will be a welcome tea in Thelwall Parish Hall on the day of arrival with an official reception and dinner dance at Mere Golf and Country Club on May 23.
Around 120 visitors, hosts and society members will attend.
